It’s pouring outside and I can already feel the end of summer approaching…
By this point many people are looking forward to Autumn and all that comes with it: cozy knits, hot beverages, comfort food…
To me it’s a different story, I never look forward to Autumn; not because I hate it, but because I’m crazy in love with Summer and I never want it to end.
So you might understand why, I’m feeling a bit nostalgic (grey weather does that to me) and to bring a little Summer into this rainy day I wanted to share with you the photos from my first ever celebration of Midsommar in Paris!
First of all let me tell you, it has officially become one of my top 3 holidays of the year!
Having a big picnic until the sun goes down, dancing and laughing with loved ones and getting to wear a DIY flower crown… it seems like this holiday was made specially for me :)
For the occasion, our friend Carin (who happens to be Swedish) invited us to a small celebration in Place des Vosges, introducing us to typical Swedish food and the art of flower-crown-making.
I had the best of times! That celebration really is the epitome of Summer, and I intend on celebrating it every year to come :)
Regardless of your nationality, I’m hoping these photos will inspire you to be part of the celebration next year!
Wonderful pics, I love flowers !!!
Gorgeous! Sweden in France, perfect!

You definitely have shown some of the greatest things about summer here, but I’m still looking forward to fall! I can’t help it! It’s always been my favorite!
