Outfit | All covered up

May 7, 2015

Today’s oufit was taken a few days back when all the Sakura trees started blooming; and considering my obsession with these (my favorite) flowers, I knew I had to take photos with them! (Just as I do every season).

Outfit for a day under the Cherry Blossoms in Paris

I had originally planned a super girly spring look (lightweight dress, flowers, bare legs, etc.), but the crazy parisian spring season played a trick on us and so it was a pretty chilly day, so my plans of wearing a cute dress and then picnic-ing were out of question.

I threw in this look a bit in the last minute (imagine the weather considering I ended up wearing a turtleneck sweater and leather trench) and although it wasn’t what I had in mind originally, we decided to shoot it anyways.

That weekend we were also a bit lasy, so we didn’t make the effort to wake up early so by the time we arrived to Champ de Mars it was packed!!

We tried to do our best considering the new outfit, ugly light and crowds and this is the result… I also desided to play a bit with curves to reach a more “dreamy” look, but I’m not quite sure I achieved it lol, so in conclusion I’m not crazy about these photos, but I still wanted to share them with you :)

So yeah, despite it all, I do hope you like them!

Have a great day!

I’m wearing:

Hat – H&M // Coat – thrifted // Turtleneck sweater – Epsilon // Trousers & Shoes – Zara // Watch – Daniel Wellington // Bag – Random boutique in NY

    THOSE ARE THE DREAMIEST PANTS

Cherry blossom season really is the prettiest season in Paris, especially for taking photos – but I think when it comes it’s so easy to give in to the cliche of putting on a sundress and sandals. I love that you wore something less obvious instead. And those pants are just fabulous.

I hate it when the weather plays tricks like that! I cannot tell you how many times I have planned THE PERFECT OUTFIT for an event and then had the weather change on me. No fun! You look absolutely Parisian-chic and for real, your hair is the greatest thing ever!
