So here they are! The last beautiful New York photos of the series!
I hope you have enjoyed the previous ones and will like this last post!
There’s thousands of images of this amazing city all over the internet, but I really wanted to show you something different and I hope I succeeded.
Although I took photos of the most obvious things, I also wanted to show you the things and moments most people overlook… and all through a different perspective.
It’s like you could be inside my head and experience NYC the way that I did <3
It had been a long time since the last trip Flo and I had made, and it certainly left me craving for more! I really want to share with everyone the way I see the world through my photography, so I can tell you that I’m gonna invest myself into doing more of that from now on.
Anyways, today’s post shows the photos from the last 3 days of our trip which were much more calm than the rest, and were more about just taking it easy and enjoy the fact that we were on vacations…
That morning we shot Ralph Lauren’s Street Style; our last show of the week, then with our bodies entirely freezing and exhausted we dragged ourselves to Cook Shop where we had a hearty and healthy meal to recover energy (and motivation) to brave into the cold once again. By the time we went out, it had gotten a bit late (considering that the night would fall around 5pm) so we just decided to take it easy and go for a walk at a different part of Central Park that we hadn’t yet been to… we also profited to step in (for like 5 min) the Museum of Natural History and then went to the upper east to try the famous cookies from Levain Bakery.
Then we thought it would be a great idea (it wasn’t) to walk all the way from the top end of Central Park to the bottom one (meaning from 110th St to 59th St)… of course it was a terrible terrible idea since by not even halfway through, we in the verge of getting hypothermia and had to grab the metro straight to the apartment (and call it a day).
Once recovered from the previous day’s silliness, we met in Soho with Ari to do a photo shoot for The Double Denim. For a while we scouted for locations while taking the time to also stroll and know other icons of the area (like Washington Square), took the photos and then rushed into a wonderful Italian place named Rosemary’s where we had the opportunity to chat and hang out. Once again, we finished quite late so we finished the day shopping around SoHo.
The last day of our amazing trip! We had to go to the airport at 1:30pm so we got up as early as we could to fit in as much as we could in this last day.
Considering the little time, we couldn’t get too far away from our area so the perfect plan turned out to be to go to the Rockefeller Plaza and of course Top of the Rock for yet another panoramic view of the city, but this time during daylight. We then just walked back to the apartment with a quick stop to Shake Shack for one last sin in the city.
Then we just got back to set everything ready to leave, and when we came out of the place out of the blue, it was all covered in snow and it was so beautiful! So while we were walking towards the bus station with luggages and all, I tried to snap a photo here and there, and they turned out to be my favorite photos of the whole trip!
So it’s a wrap! Hope you LOVE the photos ;)
