It’s been over 3 years that I moved to Paris and I had only once been to Bagatelle during the night for a girlfriend’s birthday… after that for some ridiculous reason it just hadn’t occured to me to go.
I say ridiculous since, I’m always in the hunt for new inspiring places in Paris that I haven’t been to yet.
Usually I surf the internet searching for hidden treasures, all while this one had been under my nose all along!
So about a month ago, when Flo and I were celebrating our first year of civil marriage I wanted us to go on a relaxed romantic stroll and by chance I bumped into some pamphlets about the “Concours de Roses Nouvelles” that would soon take place at the park and so I finally remembered about this place.
It couldn’t have been better if I had planned it!
The weather was wonderful and the place simply stunning, filled with some of the most beautiful flowers and vegetation I have seen so far!
Of course I couldn’t stop snapping and snapping and I got the idea that one day I’m gonna find an excuse to ask the super talented and sweet photographer Katie Mitchell to shoot Flo and I in this breathtaking place!
Anyways going back to the point, if you happen to be Paris in the summertime and you have one free day to relax or perhaps make a picnic, skip Tuileries or Champ de Mars and go directly to this amazing park, you’re gonna love it!
