I don’t know about you, but I have trouble buying staple pieces… I think I’m such a Fashion Victim that I need to put my money on what’s on trend rather than pieces that are timeless and versatile. (Not very smart I know).

This has turned to be a slight problem for me since, as you know I love colors and prints so my wardrobe is not necessarily appropriate for all occasions.

Sometimes I actually want to have a simple look and look effortlessly stylish and it’s so hard to do that with the crazy and colorful things I usually wear, so now I’m trying to push myself to invest in good staples that can save me from a fashion predicament…

Of course that doesn’t mean I’m leaving my flashy style behind, I’m just adopting a “less is more” attitude that will coexist with it and be helpful from time to time.

This crazy beautiful denim jacket from House of Holland is one of my steps towards that.
A denim jacket is comfortable and versatile, so it is pretty much a good staple piece, but of course I needed things to be spiced up so it has polka dots!

Haha you must be thinking “that’s still flashy”… well I say “baby steps…”

Have a lovely weekend!!

Me pasa mucho.
