I don’t know you, but I’m one of those people who are into pretty eating; if some food is good looking then I’m hooked and if after it turns out it’s delicious then I’m for the win.
We all know I don’t do restaurant reviews… I leave that to bloggers with a better knowledge of the gastronomic scene and probably a finer palate.
So although this post definitely goes far off from the usual content of Ambitieuse, these are just bunch of photos to make you all drool!
Last year I heard about a new restaurant named “Dulce Patria” (owned by renowned chef Martha Ortiz) and since I’m such a visual person, after seeing a couple of photos I knew I needed to go on my next visit to Mexico…
Not only do they offer in their menu traditional mexican flavours (with a twist) from diverse regions of the country, but they also add a touch of folklore by making them characteristically colorful and adorned.
Along that, each dish has a romantic and almost magical name that seems like it was taken out of a fairy tale!
I personally fell crazy in love with the cocktails (yummy and pretty) and funnily though I became obsessed with the garnish of a dish; a sort of baked hibiscus flowers with chilly powder… But to be honest, everything was ridiculously good!
